"Utah Abortion Bill Could Punish Women for Miscarriages, Domestic Violence
Utah lawmakers have approved a measure that would allow women to be charged with murder if they commit an “intentional, knowing or reckless act” that causes a miscarriage. Critics fear the measure could target women for all kinds of actions, including staying with an abusive partner.
Lynn Paltrow, founder and executive director of National Advocates for Pregnant Women.
Terry O'Neill, President of the National Organization for Women."

Anti-abortionists over the years since Roe vs. Wade have claimed that if abortion were to become illegal that they would only punish the abortion doctors not the women. Well, utah has just unvieled what they're really up to. They will fully prosecute women even if they have a miscarriage - that will be considered murder and will land them in jail for 15 years. If a female has an abortion she will go to jail for life. Doctors who perform abortion would get the death penalty. Other state legistalures are hard at work making it harder for women too.
